With the explosion of traffic in St. Augustine as a tourist destination, we have seen a corresponding explosion in what we have to pay for parking (If we can even get it!), so we now charge $15/per day per spot.

We currently have parking in the ‘Chianti Room’ lot.  They are behind the building on Charlotte Street up against the back of our building (The north side).  There are ‘No Parking – Tow Away Zone’ signs numbered #23, #24 & #25 and #26.  Look for the 4 pirate flags on the signs. We place bright orange cones in front of the spaces which you should put back when you leave one of these spots as tourists often think that these are part of the public parking spots.  The regular spots in the Chianti Room lot are $15 per day, with no Ins/Outs and the lot usually fills up by 11AM.

If we do not have any space available in our lot, we will gladly provide you with FREE parking at the City Parking Garage on 1 Cordova Street (3 blocks away) via a City Parking Pass.  This is a magnetic pass that you swipe at a reader when entering AND exiting the garage.

If you receive a free garage pass, take note that they can and do fill up during peak times (often Saturdays around 2pm or 5pm). During those 90 minutes closures, you can pay to park in any lot of your choice, with the option to move your car to the garage for free later.

Please remove your car from our spaces IMMEDIATELY after you check out.  Our check-in time is 11AM!  We have guests arriving after your check out!  If you plan to stay in town after your check out, please ask about other parking options at the front desk. We recommend moving to one of the Chianti lot metered spots before 10am if you are hanging around town for lunch.

The main parking garage is a great option too, it is shaded so your car stays cool.  

City Metered parking is $2.50/hr, but only needs to be paid from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday thru Saturday. After 5:00PM until 8:00AM during these days, it is FREE. Sundays and Holidays are also free all day at metered parking (except the Fort Lot)

There is a paid lot across from our Inn, accessible from Charlotte Street that costs between $20-$40 per day with no in/out privileges.

The city has plans to build 2 more parking garages to accomodate the tourism here, especially during the Nights of Lights.

Our parking lot has the capacity for 5 cars. However, due to consistent parking issues of folks being blocked in by other rooms that haven’t left us keys, have their cell phones left behind, etc – we now only offer parking for 3 cars in our lot. This is based on a first come, first serve basis, and will cost $5.00/per day. If you booked two rooms, you have the option to block in your other car provided you have the knowledge we will not be able to move anyone’s car for them at any time.

You are permitted to park temporarily in the lot to unload your luggage, but are limited to 10 minutes. We reserve the right to tow cars that we cannot identify parking in our lot.
